What is the tuition?

For the 2023 - 24 School Year, there is a family registration fee of $150 due with your Tuition Agreement in March.

Tuition Rates* (K – 8) are as follows: First Child: $6,165; Second Child: $6,165; Third Child: $6,165; Fourth Child: 6,165.

Do you offer financial aid?

What is the age of admission?

A child entering kindergarten must be five years old on or before August 1st.

How many students are enrolled at St. Angela’s?

The enrollment for the 2023-24 school year in grades K through 8th is 379.

Do student wear uniforms?

Yes, all students in grades K through 8 are required to wear a uniform. Parents should refer to the Student Handbook for more information about uniforms.

Uniforms can be purchased from Schoolbelles. St. Angela's online school code is S0153.

Students are able to purchase Spirit Wear and gym uniforms through our Spirit Wear Company. Contact the school office at (440) 333-2126 for more details.

What is the student-teacher ratio?

The student-teacher ratio is 20-to-1, with an average class size of 21 students.

What are the hours of the school day?

Kindergarten – 8th grade hours are 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children may enter the building after 7:30 a.m.

Are there extended day programs?

Yes. SAM offers two separate extended day programs for students.

Our Before Care program is strictly a drop-in basis and is available each school day for a small fee. Doors open at 6:30 a.m., with breakfast service starting at 6:45 a.m.

Our Extended Care program allows students to remain after school until 6:00 p.m. as needed for a fee. The after school program includes a healthy snack, play, a quiet time for some homework, and a time for socializing.

Do you offer hot lunch?

Yes, parents can order hot lunch on a monthly basis for $4.00 a day, including milk. A variety of "extras"  are also available.

What opportunities are there for parents to be involved?

Parent involvement is welcome at St. Angela Merici. Parents serve as room parents and volunteer as coaches, field trip chaperones and occasionally in the class room. Volunteers also play important roles in the Parent-Teacher Connection, and Project St. Isidore technology team.

All employees and volunteers who have contact with students undergo thorough screening, including background checks through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation & Identification (BCI&I). For complete information on screening policies, see the revised Policy for the Safety of Children in Matters of Sexual Abuse, section 1.2 (p. 3).

What extracurricular activities do you offer?

Students can participate in a wide variety of extracurricular activities, including Student Council, Scouting, CYO Sports, Academic Enrichment Programs, Children's Choir, Instrumental Music, and many other clubs and organizations.
