There are many ways to support St. Angela Merici Parish School, and the biggest way is by volunteering your time and talent.
Parents and guardians are welcome to serve as volunteers in the school or in the classrooms as needed and must follow all school policies and regulations regarding school visitors.
In addition, all school volunteers must adhere to the Diocese of Cleveland policies under Protecting God’s Children Program and must attend VIRTUS Training and submit to a Criminal Background Check.
Virtus - Protecting God's Children
EVERYONE who is a volunteer at St. Angela Merici must meet specific requirements as set forth by the Diocese of Cleveland.
Volunteer compliance requirements are met by completing ALL of the following:

Complete the St. Angela Merici Volunteer Paperwork Packet and submit all completed and signed documents to the Parish or School office.
Instructions for accessing the Diocesan Sexual Abuse and Standards of Conduct policies (2016) are given on page two of the packet. All employees and volunteers MUST read the policies and sign and submit the Acknowledgement Form included in the Packet for each Diocesan policy.
o The St. Angela Merici driver form in the packet is optional. It is only needed if you will be transporting minors in your personal vehicle.
Complete a background check through selection.com. Background checks through selection.com are done once; no need to repeat. If registered through selection.com, fingerprints are NOT needed
Instructions for accessing selection.com through an individual’s virtus.org account are given on page two of the SAM Volunteer Packet.
