About Me

Hi, my name is Mrs. Patti Horner and I am a 2nd grade teacher here at St. Angela Merici Parish School.

I grew up in Dayton, Ohio with my 2 brothers and 2 sisters.  I attended St. Adalbert Parish School for elementary school and St. Joseph Commercial High School for high school.

I have two children, Jennifer and Jonathon and have fostered 25 babies.  I love to vacation in Marco Island

I teach all subjects including 2nd grade science.  I have been teaching for 30 years. I started teaching at St. Angela’s in 1996. 

My Education

My undergraduate degree is from Wright State University and my graduate degree is in Elementary    Education from Indiana University.

What do you love about SAM

We work as a team for every child.

At SAM I am a LPDC (Local Professional Development Committee) Representative, a Drama Club facilitator, the Sacramental Prep Coordinator for Grade 2, a Eucharistic Minister and I work in our Extended Care programs.
