About Me

Hi, my name is Mrs. Jill Ruiz and I am a 7th and 8th grade science and reading teacher here at St. Angela Merici Parish School.

I grew up in Parma, Ohio where I attended Bethany Lutheran School and for high school I went to Padua Franciscan High School.

I live with my husband and our dog Rocky. I have been studying Kenpo Karate since 1995 and I am also an instructor which is how I met my husband,  I also volunteer at the Cuyahoga County Animal Shelter.

I have been teaching for 6 years. I began teaching at St. Angela’s in 2018.

My Education

I attended Baldwin Wallace and earned my degree in Middle Childhood Education in science, reading, and English / language arts.

What do you love about SAM

I am so happy to continue my career in a place that values faith, worship and service. I haven’t spent much time here yet but everyone has made me feel so welcome and I’m excited to get started!
