Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults

DO YOU KNOW SOMEONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CATHOLIC?

RCIA is designed to help those interested in becoming members of the Catholic Church. Our RCIA Team is eager to accompany those seeking to be baptized or, if already baptized, to become full members of the Catholic Church through the Sacraments of Confirmation & Holy Eucharist. RCIA begins in September. For more information, please contact our Parish Center office at (440) 333-2133. Remember, if you want to be a godparent or sponsor, you must be fully initiated. Help us to help you on your spiritual journey and in your future ministry.

Church Door Replacement

The Parish is replacing the Lorain Road vestibule church doors as well as the two side doors in the vestibule, including all hardware.

The existing doors are original, installed when the church was built in 1948, and they were refurbished in 1992. Due to rot, warpage and hardware failure, Father Lanning, with the recommendation from Parish Finance Council, has decided to replace the doors.

The estimated cost of each set of doors is approximately $12,000.

Parishioners are invited to memorialize a loved one by purchasing a set of doors or by making a significant donation towards the cost of a set of doors. The memorial will include an engraved bronze plaque adhered to either the interior or exterior brick wall adjacent to the doors.

Catholic Charities Annual Appeal

The 2019 Catholic Charities Annual Appeal is underway. This is not a special collection; rather, the Catholic Charities Annual Appeal represents the chance for all Catholics to make a significant pledge, payable in installments, to Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland in order to support its mission of a society that stands united in its support of the “least among us.”

Walk in Faith. Give in Joy.  Your support of the 2019 Catholic Charities Annual Appeal helps us to all become missionary disciples. Please consider a generous gift that will change the lives of people like David, Marian, Shaye and Sharita. Hear their stories of transformation at www.catholiccommunity.org/videos. On behalf of the poor and needy of Northeast Ohio, thank you for your commitment to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
