Uniforms, Spirit Wear & School Supplies
For Uniforms, please see school handbook.
Students are able to purchase Spirit Wear and gym uniforms thru our Spirit Wear Company. Please call the school office for details 440-333-2126.
The Schoolhouse Café participates in the National School Lunch Program which ensures that our students receive nutritious, quality meals that adhere to government standards.
Students have the option of purchasing a hot lunch or packing their lunch daily. Milk is available to purchase for those who pack. Menus are posted monthly in the Bruins Bulletin and students fill out a lunch card indicating the days they would like to purchase lunch. The Cafe utilizes a POS system for lunch and cafe purchases with an online payment portal at MySchoolAccount.com where parents are also able to view student purchase history.
Lunch fees are as follows:
- Hot Lunch-milk included (pre-order) - $ 3.40 ($3.90 day of)
- Milk only - $0.60
A variety of “extras” are also available for purchase each day. Items include milk, bottled water, vitamin-fortified slushies, ice cream, hot pretzels, and more.
Applications for free or reduced-fee lunch are in the Welcome Back Packet and are accepted throughout the school year. Families may qualify for reduced-fee or free lunches based on household income. This is a strictly confidential program and we strongly encourage those that may qualify to utilize this service.
If a student forgets their lunch or did not pre-order, they can purchase a daily buy for $3.50 or receive an “emergency lunch” if they do not have money in their account. Our policy is that no student ever goes with out a lunch.
The Nutrition Services Office can be contacted at (440) 333-2126, ext. 148 or at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Parent Teacher Connection (PTC)
We all know that children learn more and have better lives when parents, school staff, students, and the community work together. The PTC brings all these groups together to share thoughts and ideas about programs and activities that benefit our children
The PTC sponsors many events that your children attend, including the Fall Party, Book Fairs, Pastries with Parents, St. Nicholas Feast Day, Santa’s Secret Shop, Ice Skating Party, Homeless Stand Down, St. Angela Merici Feast Day, Father’s Mass, Holy Thursday Easter Basket Assembly, Father-Daughter Dance, Mother-Son Dance, Mother’s Mass Reception, Father-Son Outing or Family Outing, Teacher Appreciation Dinner, and the Teacher Appreciation Breakfast, just to name a few! Please join today and help us support your children!
Our main function is to improve the education and the lives of the children of St. Angela Merici School by developing a close relationship with the parents, the school administration, the teachers, and the students. Working together, we can identify the needs and develop solutions to enhance all aspects of the school environment and thus, help our children to become successful members of our society.
The St. Angela Merici PTC provides a means for YOU to address any area of concern and to voice your opinions and/or suggestions. Many times, ONE PERSON can create a launching point and thus gain support for the development of a new program. Many times, ONE PERSON can identify a need that should be addressed. Many times, ONE PERSON can suggest a new way in which we can raise additional funding. The St. Angela Merici PTC wants to hear what YOU have to say. Attending the monthly PTC meeting is the best way to stay informed of what is happening in our school and to be involved in development of new ideas.
We have found through our research that while many people have been volunteering their time, they haven’t been aware of our PTC and what we do. We hope you become not only a member, but an active member of the PTC. We believe this upcoming year is going to be an opportunity for many people to get involved and make a positive impact on our school.
