Coaches / Volunteers
St. Angela Merici CYO sports programs rely on dedicated coaches and volunteers. If you have interest coaching or volunteering, please contact a member of the Sports Boosters board. St. Angela Merici coaches must maintain all CYO related certifications and attend season specific coaches meetings. All coaches need read the SAM Coaches Expectations document below and they need to be VIRTUS trained. Please follow this link for more information.
We typically have a Sports Boosters meeting the second Monday of each month. The meetings start at 7:00 PM and are held in the Social Hall East meeting room, unless otherwise posted. Please feel free to attend the meetings if you want to volunteer, have an idea, or just want to hear what is going on. If there is a topic you wish to discuss at the meeting, we ask that you email the Sports Boosters president one week before the meeting. Thank you and once again, all are welcome to attend!
The remaining meetings for the 2016/2017 school year are as follows:
2017: January 9, February 13, March 13, April 10, May 8, June 12
All participants must have a sports physical on file prior to participation in practices or games. In general, sports physicals are good for one year. You must also have the Emergency Medical Authorization form completed and turned in prior to practice or games. The new Emergency Medical Authorization form must be completed for each sport/season you participate in (in other words, it is only good for the sport you are currently in and a new one is needed for each sport/season).

We recommend that all parents take time to educate themselves with the variety of information available on this website.
