St. Angela Merici

 

 

The parent group at St. Angela Merici School is known as Parent Teacher Connection (PTC).  The objectives are:

  • To promote communication among parents, teachers, and administration.
  • To provide parents and teachers with all the information to aid in aspects of education and the students’ growth and development.
  • To promote good will and cooperation between and among parents, faculty, staff, administration, parish council, and the parish.
  • To direct and coordinate parental support to the school through assistance activities, social functions, and fund-raisers.

 

The PTC is an essential hard-working group that provides activities and valuables services to our school community and organizes many valuable activities and services for our school and our students such as:

  • Sponsoring events such as the Fall Fest, Family Game Night, and Pastries with Parents, and Skating Parties
  • Providing a system for weekly Family Mail and coordinating our Homeroom Parent program,
  • Assisting in the recycling of old uniforms, and organizing meals for school families in need,
  • Funding in-house “Beyond the Classroom” educational experiences,
  • Organizing fundraisers including the November bookfair, Campbell’s label program, paper recycling and more.
